Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Oh my Lord you are so wonderful and precious to me! I praise you and see you wonderful blessings great and small in my life! Praise you on High!
Oh my people, The Lord never fails to amaze me and take care of us in small and great matters.
I was getting ready to go to bed tonight. I went outside for a bit to sit on the back porch (yes smoking) on my swingset and I had been praying about various kids in our church. Enjoying sitting there and watching the snow swirling around me.
Going out the back door is a slider glass door. Before I went out, I had already locked my front door. But coming into the slider door somehow I had locked myself out of the house! So I knocked for a bit and my kids were not waking up.
So I thought lets go to the front door just in case. Sure enough the door is locked. I ring and ring and ring the door bell hoping one of my sleeping children will wake up with the noise of the door bell and our dog barking.
I was thinking I can go through the bedroom window but I knew that one was locked as well. I am standing thier and thinking. Okay, mom has done a doofus and locked her self out at 11:30pm at night. So I decided to just stand them and keep ringing the door bell some more. I tried the doorknob and it was locked. So rang the bell some more. then I was trying to hopefully open the door and all of a sudden I felt this click and the door opened. I gently went in fully expecting to see one of my sleepy children and there was no one.
I stood there and said, who opened the door for me? I looked up and said, Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord! Wow, reminds me of the story of Paul when he was in prison and the God came and broke his chains and he got out of prison.
God You are amazing! Thank you for being my God and Savior! I praise you and thank you for helping me in such a small matter but yet such a big matter to you for you know the numbers of my hairs on my head and that no detail is left out. Thank you Lord Thank you!!!!
