Hello All,

As some of you may or may not know, my husband and I are currently seperated. I have been doing a ton of praying and will not cease because I believe the Lord will restore our marriage to something better beyound our wildest dreams.

I was sitting in the Garage just thinking about my husband and all the idiotic mistakes I have made in our marriage and the mistakes I am aware that he has made. He is no more at fault than I am. I share in equal blame in all things gone sour.

As some of you may or may not know, my husband is not a born-again christain yet but I firmly believe without a shadow of a doubt that this will come all in Gods good perfect timing to be lifted up in Glory for God.

While sitting in the Garage and thinking, I was led to pray and often I end up praying in song in my heart. I love to sing in my heart and I have this song and I just wanted to share it publicly.

I do not know why, but I am going to go with my instincts on this one and share this song that I wrote.

Prayer / Song: Thank you Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

Thank you Father for sending me my husband, for I know he came because of you!

Just like you sent me your son Jesus Christ to die all of my sins!
You never gave up on me! Just like I know you’ll never give up on my husband!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

Fill my husband up with your healing
Grace and
Mercy and
Love
That can only come from you Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

In the mist of all the problems and hurts we are feeling, Send us your healing love and bring restoration to us in your name Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

Thank you Father for sending me my husband, for I know he came because of you! Because I know that I know and that I know and it can not be explained with no amount of words! Only you Father can give me this kind of knowing!

Just like you sent your son Jesus Christ to die for all of my sins! You never gave up on me, just like I know that you will never give up on my husband!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

Fill my husband up with your healing
Grace and
Mercy and
Love
That can only come from you Lord Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

I let my husband go to you now and let you heal him in all his hurts so that Glory may be honored to you Lord Jesus!

Fill my husband up with your healing
Grace and
Mercy and
Love
That can only come from you Lord Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

I let my husband go to you now and let you heal him in all his hurts so that Glory may be honored to you Lord Jesus!

This part speaks volumes to me. How often have we tried and tried and tried to change the heart of a person? How often have we made the statements like "I keep trying to bring him to God" or "If only I was a better witness..."

Letting go of someone's future into God's hands is not the most human thing for us to do. We want to say "I helped bring my ____ to salvation." The truth is that we are merely messengers. We can be a living witness and no more. Letting Go and allowing God to

Fill my husband up with your healing
Grace and
Mercy and
Love
That can only come from you Lord Jesus!

is the right thing to do.

Thank you for sharing that - I needed it too.

You are welcome They,

I think we all have a lot we can share with each other that can help each other. Isn't that part of the purpose of Christain Boards? Not only to bring people to accept Christ but also to help each other in our walk with Christ.

Letting go is really hard to do. Expecially when you have a "I gotta fix it all attitiude". :sigh: But I am learning, if we don't let go, we can royally screw it up for God and that other person too.

Gods thoughts are higher than our thoughts, Gods ways are higher than our ways. So trust in him we must.

Not sure where the "Gods ways......) scripture is in the bible, but I know its in there.

One that I found is in Isaiah 55 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=29&chapter=55&verse=7&end_verse=9&version=31&context=context)

8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
declares the LORD.

9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I think we all have a lot we can share with each other that can help each other. Isn't that part of the purpose of Christain Boards? Not only to bring people to accept Christ but also to help each other in our walk with Christ. Exactly right...
