A very long day today, and a hot one. Summer being officially here (first FULL day today) although it started yesterday, summer was actually here a few weeks ago. This summer is rough - hot, dry, weird. In some places its actually looking like fall with dead leaves due to lack of rain and all.
I've got around 2 dozen more things I've got to work on with the website before I can take a break. Most appear to be minor, but there are a handful of big projects. After my break, I've got to work on other themes besides the default "Kaput." More than likely I will put up a poll and ask what people like - I may even try 1 theme a day or week to get people to see the different styles - and then poll. The reason is because I will be going from whatever down to 4 themes. Default, Airhead (for my wife) and 2 others. I'll have a dark theme (possibly charcoal or black) because that is what a lot of people like - and I'll have one other that is similar to this one in many respects. After that - I'll possibly work on 1 theme at a time. Keep in mind this, however, most changes do not affect the theme, just the site, so whatever theme is chosen, the hacks will still bee seen.
In work-related news, there's a very very good chance that we have been bought out as of today. I don't know about details or when things will take effect, but from a birdie, I was told that they were at the bank signing the deal. I don't know exact figures, but probably between 14 and 20 million dollar deal. Personally, all I'm hoping for is an increase in my low-end wages. Possibilities on the future: Laid off, less pay, no change, more pay. Really - anything. It would be unlikely that I'd lose my job - however, it isn't impossible.
