On the web page you cited, there is some room for discussion.

If Israel is still under the Mosaic Law: Where then are the sacrifices? If it is still in effect, then where are the Jews supposed to go to offer the required sacrifices?

There have always been two ways to get to heaven.
1. Live a perfect life.
2. Let Jesus be your sacrifice for sins.

Number 1. cannot be accomplished. Indeed, it's purpose was to show us (humanity) how we fall short of God's perfection and righteousness. Unfortunately, many (probably most) people still think that reaching heaven is still about "doing more good than bad" and thereby tipping the scale in our favor. But God's scale only has one tray - there is not anything to balance or offset the bad. Even one "bad" nullifies all atta-boys forever.

Therefore, we must recognize that we can never meet God's standard. Our only hope is to seek God's mercy. Jesus provided that, in that He did live a perfect life and completely fulfill the Law.

But if we continue to rely on the Law to obtain God's forgiveness, then we are returning to "works" - trying to buy or earn our salvation, which in itself is a sin. We will not be able to boast of any of our "good deeds" in heaven.

Of course, we should continue to live in obedience, but it is not to earn forgiveness, but as a grateful response to what he has given us.

They point that out in one of the begining parts

Modern Christian Assertion
Jesus, by his work on the cross, put an end to old covenant and established a new covenant. In this new covenant, God gives us a moral law to obey, including but not necessarily limmited to the Ten Commandments, and has freed us from strict adherance to the Mosiac Law. There is no longer, since the death of Jesus, any need to adhere to the Mosiac Law. This is clearly taught in the Bible by Paul, in Acts, and in Hebrews specifically.

Messianic Judaism Model
People are made rightous by the blood of Jesus alone, however, the Mosiac Covenant is still in effect- it has not been done away with. The Mosiac Covenant foreshadows and prophecies of a comming Messiah, who is none other than Yeshua (Jesus). God gave the law, and it is now obeyed as an act of love for Him and obediance to Him. The Mosiac Law has never made anyone rightous, and never will; this comes only through belief in the Messiah. This is clearly seen in the Torah and the other books of the Old Testament, and in the New Testament. Yeshua himself taught his followers to hear and obey the Mosaic Law.

Modified Judeo-Christian Model
People are made rightous by the blood of Jesus alone. Jesus is the Saviour first the Jew, then to the Gentile. The Jews are God's chosen people, and as such, God has established a covenant- the Mosaic Covenant- with them. The covenant is specifically between the nation of Isreal and God; the gentile nations are excluded. The work of Jesus on the cross did not put an end to the Mosaic Law, it is still in effect for its original parties, God and the nation of Isreal. Jews and Gentiles alike are made rightous by Jesus work on the cross. Jews, being chosen by God, have a better position than Gentiles, and are therefore inclined to adhere to the conditions of thier agreement with God. Since Gentiles are not part of this agreement, they have no such inclination.
They also go on with the different arguments on the subject, everyone should be guilded by the Holy Spirit in the matter, when you look at the old covenant there are laws in it that should still be obeyed.

OK, Instead of giving the question my own opinion without real study I posted the opinion of someone that has studied it from different angles. The covenant and what parts apply to us as Christians is a loaded question....... :D ....we could explore it for the rest of our lives. :lol Sometimes it is a matter of Faith knowing all of our questions will be answered someday.
