Cell Phone vs Bible

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like
we treated our cell phones ?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets ?
What if we turned back to go get it if we for got it ?
What if we flipped through it several times a day ?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text ?
What if we treated it like we could not live with out it ?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts ?
What if we used it as we traveled ?
What if we used it in case of an emergency ?

This is something to make you go...hmm...where is my Bible ?

Oh, and one more thing .Unlike our cell phone , we do not ever have to
worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill in full .

I bring my cell phone with me when I go out but I hardly use it. I don't even know how to do most of the things on it!! :shock: :lol I think it is so silly how carried away people are with their cell phones: playing with them in the grocery lines, during movies at the theatre (even though it plainly says to turn off cell phones before the movie!), while driving down the street :shock: :shock:, at ball games, during CHURCH :shock: :shock:,etc.etc.etc.

Okay, stepping off my soapbox. :whistle
