Tomatoes are coming in and were slow at first . I had some Romans . They are solid . I pealed some and put some green onions , jalapeno pepper, sweet onion ,and bell pepper in a chopper and made a thick tomato sauce . For got I put some garlic salt in also . I put some in the freezer .
I made some macaroni drained it and used some of this sauce . I graded some colby cheese to top it . This was a quick dish and was good . The pepper was very hot but the sauce was not it had a good flavor .

Any one else throw something to gather that turned out good and want to share ? :))

God bless you all

This sounds good. I bet it would make a good spaghetti sauce. I have to fix spaghetti on nights when I know David is eating something else though. He is not big on the red sauce and claims to be allergic to processed tomatoes as well. (j/k honey)

My husband says he does not like tomato sauce etc. . He has a tomato patch
and eats his wight in tomatoes . When I make something with tomatoes I do not cook them . I like fresh so I cold pack when I make anything with tomatoes . There are some people who can not eat them. They sure are good.

God bless you

Got lots of tomatoes?

great salad - chop tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers -- onions and cubed cheese if you like (no lettuce)

pour on homemade dressing: EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), any kind of vinegar, at least a tablespoon of sugar (to taste), parmacian (sp) cheese, dash of salt and pepper, minced garlic or garlic powder (don't matter which), oregano or basil or parsley if you'd like.

UM-HMM GOOD

my quick meals are usually just what I have in the kitchen at the time. I love tomatoes, but don't buy them very often because I can't go through them fast enough. I don't cook much but when I do, mm-mm good.
