This is a favorite - my Dad's recipe. This goes great with Turkey.
What you need:
3 lbs plus chicken
16x9 pan cornbread
2 cups breadcrumbs
2 cups chopped celery
2 cups chopped onions
2 tbsp sage
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
What to do:
1. Prepare cornbread.
2. Boil chicken until it comes apart. Save chicken juice then separate the bones from the chicken.
3. Mix all dry ingredients and chicken in stockpot and pour in chicken juice. Mix thoroughly. Pour into large baking pan.
4. Cook at 400 degrees until a good brown crust appears.
This will makes enough stuffing for approximately 10-20 people.
