OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A state House committee approves a bill that would allow students to pray aloud in groups, distribute religious literature and express religious viewpoints to their classmates.
The House Common Education Committee voted 8 to 5 Wednesday to send the measure to the full House for a vote despite concerns expressed by Representative Ray Miller.
